SIP: From Field Overflow
This signature detects attempts to exploit known vulnerabilities against Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). Attackers can craft a malicious SIP Invite message with a "From:" value over 256 bytes that can cause a denial of service or gain access to a target system.
Extended Description
A successful attacker can exploit the vulnerabilities to conduct denial of service attacks, or to compromise a target system.
