SIP: Missing Colon Character


This anomaly is a session initiation protocol (SIP), in which the SIP header should be followed by a colon character.

Extended Description

This could indicate that an attack against a SIP server or client is underway. The impact depends on the particular implementation of SIP, and could result in a denial of service, buffer overflow, or information disclosure.
