VNC: Authorization Challenge Overflow


This protocol anomaly is a VNC authorization challenge message that is too long. The VNC protocol specifies 16 as the maximum for authorization challenge messages.

Extended Description

Unusual VNC messages, such as an overly long "Authentication Challenge" message, may indicate an attack attempt, or that a VNC program is misconfigured.
