VNC: Invalid Server Response

This protocol anomaly is a VNC server response that is sent by a VNC client. VNC clients should receive VNC responses, not send them. This protocol anomaly can indicate that the VNC server is invalid.

Extended Description

Detection of a VNC server-to-client message originating from a VNC client could indicate that a software or network transmission error has occurred. It could also indicate that malicious activity, such as a session hijacking attack, is being committed.
