VNC: Brute Force Login Attempt


This protocol anomaly detects multiple authentication failures within a short period of time between a unique pair of hosts. This could indicate someone repeatedly trying different username/passwords to gain access to the server. You can configure the default number of authentication failures in the Sensor Settings Rulebase of your Security Policy.
