TROJAN: PhaseZero Server Response


This signature detects TCP packets sent from local server port 555 to a remote port. This can indicate the system is responding to an attacker to confirm successful installation of the Trojan Phase Zero. Phase Zero is a remote administration Trojan, which allows attackers to access data and gain control over some functions on remote Microsoft Windows systems.

Extended Description

Phase Zero is a Trojan that infects Windows operating systems and allows a remote attacker to take control of the infected victim.
