TROJAN: NetMetropolitan 1.0 Client Request
This signature detects TCP packets sent from a remote port to local server port 5301. This can indicate an attacker is scanning the system for the Trojan Net Metropolitan v1.0. Net Metropolitan, a remote administration Trojan similar to Back Orifice, allows attackers to access data and gain control over some functions on remote Microsoft Windows systems.

Net Metropolitan is a backdoor Trojan that allows remote attackers to take control of an infected host.
