SNMPTRAP: Invalid Message Format
This protocol anomaly triggers when it detects a malformed SNMP trap that does not have the proper ASN encoding.
Extended Description
An improperly encoded SNMP trap message is a protocol anomaly and could indicate that an attack has occurred. The handling software could fail to process the exception condition and crash, causing a denial of service on the SNMP server.
