SNMP: Encoding Zero Length For Value


This protocol anomaly triggers when it detects a SNMP message with a zero length value for an object.

Extended Description

An OID length value of zero is a protocol anomaly. This condition could indicate a network configuration error or that malicious activity involving the injection of malformed SNMP datagrams is underway.
