This protocol anomaly triggers when it detects an SNMP message with a Counter object length of 0 or larger than 8.
Counter object lengths of 0, or greater than 8, constitute a protocol anomaly. This condition could indicate a network configuration error, or that an attacker is attempting to inject malformed SNMP packets into the network.
