SCADA: CoDeSys GatewayService Integer Overflow Vulnerability
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability in the CoDeSys GatewayService. A successful attack can lead to a buffer overflow and arbitrary remote code execution within the context of the affected application.
Extended Description
CoDeSys is prone to a stack-based buffer-overflow and an integer-overflow vulnerability. Attackers can exploit these issues to execute arbitrary code within the context of the application. Failed attacks may cause a denial-of-service condition.
