RPC: SET Operation Failed


This protocol anomaly triggers when it detects a server response that indicates an RPC SET operation has failed. This can indicate a configuration error or an attack against an RPC service.

Extended Description

A failure response from a PMAPPROC_SET command could indicate an error in configuration, or an attacker's attempt to exploit the portmapper or its registered services.
