This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability in Eureka Email. A successful attack can lead to a buffer overflow and arbitrary remote code execution within the context of the application.
Eureka Email is prone to a remote stack-based buffer-overflow vulnerability because the application fails to perform adequate boundary checks on server-supplied data. An attacker can exploit this issues to execute arbitrary code within the context of the affected application. Failed exploit attempts will result in a denial-of-service condition. Eureka Email 2.2q is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
