This protocol anomaly is an NFS message with filename that exceeds the user-defined maximum. The default filename maximum is 256; you can change this setting in the Sensor Settings Rulebase>Protocol Thresholds and Configuration>NFS>Maximum name length.
If this vulnerability is successfully exploited, arbitrary code could be injected and executed in the context of the logged in user. Less sophisticated attacks could crash IE, causing the denial of service. It may be possible for an attacker to take control of the affected system.
