LPR:DFile Name Too Large

This protocol anomaly detects an LPR data filename length that exceeds the user-defined maximum. The default data filename length is 64; you can change this setting in the Sensor Settings Rulebase>Protocol Thresholds and Configuration>LPR>Data filename length. This protocol anomaly can indicate that an attacker is attempting to overflow the file name buffer.

Extended Description

It is possible to set up the default maximum file name length to 64 bytes. Any length longer than that is a protocol anomaly.
