LDAP: Modify DN Request: Newrdn Invalid
This protocol anomaly triggers when it detects an LDAP modify DN request, where the new RDN field is empty. The new RDN field specifies the left most component of the DN in the entry to be modified.
Extended Description
Improperly-formed BER data structures could cause LDAP applications to exhibit unexpected behavior, potentially exposing security flaws such as buffer overflows in software components that process the data.
