This protocol anomaly is an LDAP search request where the substring filter specified a NULL substring to be compared against attribute values.
Extended Description
Improperly formed BER data structures could cause LDAP applications to exhibit unexpected behavior that could potentially expose security flaws such as buffer overflows in particular software components that process data.
