LDAP: Search Request: Filter Substrg None

This protocol anomaly is an LDAP search request where the substring filter did not specify an attribute type or substring that is to be matched against attribute values. The substring filter expects an attribute type or a substring.

Extended Description

Improperly formed BER data structures could cause LDAP applications to exhibit unexpected behavior that could potentially expose security flaws such as buffer overflows in particular software components that process data.
