IDENT: Request Too Long
This protocol anomaly detects an IDENT request line length that exceeds the user-defined maximum. IDENT client requests should include only a port pair separated by a comma and single space (port, port). The default request line length is 15; you can change this setting in the Sensor Settings Rulebase>Protocol Thresholds and Configuration>IDENT>Request length.
