ICMP: Flood
This protocol anomaly is an ICMP session that contains more ICMP packets than the user-defined maximum (an ICMP flood). The default number of ICMP packets per second is 250; you can change this setting in the Sensor Settings Rulebase>Protocol Thresholds and Configuration>ICMP>Packets per second to trigger a flood.
