ICMP: Echo Reply Without Request
This protocol anomaly triggers when it detects an ICMP echo reply without a matching echo request. This can indicate data tunneling over ICMP. Note: Seeing this alert can indicate that the IDP is installed incorrectly, or that packets are being dropped or re-ordered somewhere.
