This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability in the Microsoft Forefront Unified Access Gateway server. It is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. Attackers can steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.
Microsoft Forefront Unified Access Gateway is prone to a cross-site scripting vulnerability because Web Monitor fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. An attacker may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may help the attacker steal potentially sensitive information and launch other attacks.
