This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability against Symantec Norton AntiVirus. When a client downloads a malicious Web page containing specific ActiveX objects, the antivirus software exhausts its stack space when parsing specific parameters.
Extended Description
Calling a certain method of the ccErrDsp.ErrorDisplay ActiveX control can causes the host application to crash.
