HTTP: Unauthorized Access Attempt
This signature detects denied access to a URL by a Web server. This can be a Web client performing a simple user error, or an attacker attempting to break into the Web site.
Extended Description
If HTTP response code 403 is observed in public network traffic, this may indicate that a malicious party is attempting to access an unauthorized resource.
