HTTP: Internet Explorer HTML Objects Memory Corruption (2)

This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability against Microsoft Internet Explorer. Version 7 is vulnerable. Successful attackers can crash the application and possibly execute arbitrary code.

Extended Description

Microsoft Internet Explorer is prone to a remote code-execution vulnerability. Attackers can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code in the context of the user running the application. Successful exploits will compromise the application and possibly the underlying computer. Failed attacks will cause denial-of-service conditions.
