This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability in Citrix Presentation Server Client ActiveX Control. An attacker can create a malicious Web site containing Web pages with dangerous ActiveX calls, which if accessed by a victim, allows the attacker to gain control of the victim's client browser.
Citrix Presentation Server Client is prone to a heap buffer-overflow vulnerability because it fails to properly bounds-check user-supplied data before copying it into an insufficiently sized memory buffer. An attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code within the context of the affected application. Failed exploit attempts will result in denial-of-service conditions. Presentation Server Client 9.200 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
