HTTP: Joomla AlphaRegistration Component email Parameter SQL Injection

This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability in the Joomla AlphaRegistration Component. It is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An attacker can exploit this issue by manipulating the SQL query logic to carry out unauthorized actions on the underlying database.

Extended Description

The AlphaRegistration component for Joomla! is prone to an SQL-injection vulnerability because it fails to sufficiently sanitize user-supplied data before using it in an SQL query. Exploiting this issue could allow an attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database. AlphaRegistration 2.0.13 is affected; other versions may also be vulnerable.

Affected Products
