HTTP: AdMentor Admin Login SQL Injection
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known SQL Injection vulnerability in the AdMentor web-based banner-ad application. It is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An attacker can exploit this issue by manipulating the SQL query logic to carry out unauthorized actions on the underlying database.
Extended Description
AdMentor is prone to an SQL-injection vulnerability because the application fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input before using it in an SQL query. A successful exploit could allow an attacker to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit vulnerabilities in the underlying database implementation.
