HTTP: HSphere WebShell CGI.C Buffer Overflow
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability against the cgi.c component of HSphere Webshell. Webshell 2.4 and earlier versions are vulnerable. A successful attack can lead to execution of arbitrary code with root access.
Extended Description
The vulnerability allows remote attackers to overflow a buffer, and to execute arbitrary code on the vulnerable system.
