FTP: FreeFloat FTP Server Invalid Command Buffer Overflow


This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability in the FreeFloat FTP Server. A successful attack can lead to a buffer overflow and arbitrary remote code execution within the context of the server.

Extended Description

Freefloat FTP Server is prone to multiple buffer-overflow vulnerabilities. An attacker can exploit these issues to execute arbitrary code within the context of the affected application. Failed exploit attempts will result in a denial-of-service condition.
