FTP: FTPDMIN List Command Denial of Service
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability against FTPDMIN Server. Version 0.96 is vulnerable. It fails to handle specially crafted LIST commands. A successful attack can result in a denial-of-service condition.
Extended Description
FTPDMIN is prone to a remote denial-of-service vulnerability because the application fails to handle exceptional conditions. Successfully exploiting this issue would cause the affected application to crash, denying service to legitimate users. This issue affects version 0.96; other versions may also be affected.
