FINGER: Unexpected Line

This protocol anomaly triggers when it detects more than one line going to a FINGER server. This can indicate a tunneling attempt over FINGER.

Extended Description

A multiple line Finger query constitutes a protocol anomaly. This could indicate a network configuration error, or that an attacker is attempting to tunnel into the server.
