DNS: Label Length Too Large Buffer Overflow


This protocol anomaly triggers when it detects a DNS request/reply with a label that exceeds the maximum length (63) specified in the RFC. This can indicate a buffer overflow attempt.

Extended Description

The server may fail to handle the exception condition, and cause a buffer overflow to occur.
