MSN: User State Too Long

This protocol anomaly is an MSN message with a user state length that exceeds the user-defined maximum. A user state is a 3-letter code that indicates the status of the user's connection (on-line, offline, idle, etc.). The default user state maximum is 3; you can change this setting in the Sensor Settings Rulebase>Protocol Thresholds and Configuration>MSN>User state length.
