APPLICATION: ESP over UDP / NAT-T
This signature detects IPSec Encapsulation Security Protocol (ESP) being transported over UDP. This is sometimes referred to as NAT Traversal (NAT-T). This permits users to bypass IDP inspection by forwarding their traffic through an encrypted tunnel. Such activity may be a violation of your organization's Acceptable Use Policy.
