HTTP: Microsoft Office Drawing Object Code Execution

This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability against multiple Microsoft Office applications. A successful attack can lead to arbitrary code execution.

Extended Description

Microsoft Office is prone to a remote code-execution vulnerability. An attacker may exploit this issue by enticing a victim into opening a malicious Office file. Successful exploits will allow attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of the currently logged-in user. Failed exploit attempts will likely result in denial-of-service conditions.
