HTTP: SnackAmp smp File Buffer Overflow
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability in SnackAmp. A successful attack can lead to a buffer overflow and arbitrary remote code execution.
Extended Description
SnackAmp is prone to a buffer-overflow vulnerability because it fails to perform adequate boundary checks on user-supplied data. Attackers may leverage this issue to execute arbitrary code in the context of the application. Failed attacks will cause denial-of-service conditions. SnackAmp 3.1.2 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
