HTTP: PrecisionID Data Matrix Barcode ActiveX Control File Overwrite
This signature detects attempts to use unsafe ActiveX controls against PrecisionID Data Matrix Barcode. An attacker can create a malicious Web site containing Web pages with dangerous ActiveX controls, which if accessed by a victim, allows the attacker to gain control of the victim's client browser.
Extended Description
PrecisionID Data Matrix Barcode ActiveX Control is prone to multiple vulnerabilities that let attackers overwrite arbitrary local files on the victim's computer in the context of an application using the ActiveX control (typically Internet Explorer).
