HTTP: Imera Systems ImeraIEPlugin Unsafe ActiveX Control
This signature detects attempts to use an unsafe ActiveX control in the Imera Systems ImeraIEPlugin. An attacker can create a malicious Web site containing Web pages with dangerous ActiveX controls, which if accessed by a victim, allows the attacker to gain control of the victim's client browser.
Extended Description
Imera Systems ImeraIEPlugin ActiveX control is prone to a vulnerability that can allow malicious files to be downloaded and saved to arbitrary locations on an affected computer. This issue affects ImeraIEPlugin.dll 1.0.2.54; other versions may be affected as well.
