HTTP: Ecava IntegraXor Unsafe ActiveX Control


This signature detects attempts to use unsafe ActiveX controls in Ecava IntegraXor. An attacker can create a malicious Web site containing Web pages with dangerous ActiveX controls, which if accessed by a victim, allows the attacker to gain control of the victim's client browser, resulting in a user-level arbitrary code execution.

Extended Description

Ecava IntegraXor is prone to a remote stack-based buffer-overflow vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code within the context of the affected application. Failed exploit attempts will result in a denial-of-service condition.
