This signature detects attempts to exploit a known local file inclusion vulnerability in Wordpress. It is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in jQuery Mega Widget Plugin. A remote attacker can exploit this by enticing a target to open a malicious URL link. A successful attack can result in arbitrary code execution and loss of sensitive information.
jQuery Mega Menu Widget plugin for WordPress is prone to a local file-include vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to obtain potentially sensitive information and to execute arbitrary local scripts in the context of the webserver process. This may allow the attacker to compromise the application and the computer; other attacks are also possible. jQuery Mega Menu Widget plugin 1.0 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
